Gift and honeymoon fund

Make giving feel warm, clear and never awkward.

Tell guests what would genuinely help, from a future home to a night on the honeymoon. Keep the story inside the invitation and let contributions go directly through the payment method you already trust.

Gift details are live; connected fund tools are in development

01

Part of the story

Explain the purpose with photographs and a few human words instead of posting bank details into every chat.

02

Direct to the couple

The planned fund will link to your own bank or payment method so Vow&Kin does not hold the gift.

03

No pressure

Keep the language gracious, optional and easy to hide from households where the section is not appropriate.

The honest guide

What matters before you choose.

01

The invitation is the natural place

Guests already return there for the schedule and RSVP. A gift section belongs beside the rest of the wedding, with enough space to explain the goal and no need to send a second registry link without context.

02

Keep direct payments direct

Our planned approach is deliberately simple: couples add the payment routes they already use and funds travel directly to them. Vow&Kin provides the presentation, progress and thank-you organisation rather than taking custody of the money.

03

Words matter more than a progress bar

Lead with presence, not payment. Tell guests there is no expectation, explain why the goal matters and offer one or two clear options. The best fund feels like an invitation to help, never a checkout page.

How it works

A clear path from idea to guest.

  1. 01

    Choose the purpose

Use one open fund or a few specific moments such as flights, dinner or a future-home project.

  2. 02

    Add a story

A photograph and a short explanation make the request feel personal.

  3. 03

    Connect your method

Use your existing bank transfer or payment link so gifts travel directly to you.

  4. 04

    Track your thanks

Keep contributor notes together and make every thank-you personal after the day.

Questions couples ask

Straight answers before you begin.

Does Vow&Kin take a percentage of gifts?

The planned direct-payment approach does not require Vow&Kin to hold the funds. Any normal payment-provider fee remains between the couple, guest and provider.

Is the connected fund live?

The invitation already supports a gift message. Goals, progress and contribution tracking are still in development.

Can we link an existing registry?

Yes. Use the gift section to explain your preference and link guests to the registry or payment method you already use.

Can some guests see different wording?

The product is built around household-specific invitations, which makes culturally sensitive or family-specific gift wording possible.

Build the invitation free, then decide whether it belongs in your wedding.
